He added: “This strategic realignment will enable us to better serve our clients and harness the full potential of our teams, ensuring we remain responsive to the evolving needs of the market.” Phatak noted that ISS had tripled in size over the past two years, adding end-user implementations with its integrator partners with some of the most significant public and private sector organizations in the region.
Organizational Changes and Key Appointments
Osama Al Zarba has been promoted from Country Manager for Qatar to Regional Sales Director for the Middle East and will be based in DubaiUAE. With a distinguished record of leading mega projects in Qatar, including the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar Armed Forces, Dukhan Airbase, among others, Al Zarba will leverage his extensive experience to drive strategic growth across the region including the MENA and GCC regions, reinforcing ISS’s position as a leading player in the market.
Additionally, Hussam Rahman has been hired as Business Development Manager for Abu Dhabi-UAE. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise physical security and a proven track record in sales and business development from his previous employment at Siemens and Johnson Controls, Rahman will forge new partnerships and enhance service offerings.
Additionally, Shabeer Sharafudheen has recently been hired as the Channel Sales Manager for the UAE. With valuable expertise as channel partner programs for major distribution companies, mainly at NIT – an Ingram Micro company, and a solid background in leveraging sales strategies, Sharafudheen will lead the expansion of partner networks at ISS.
In the major market of Saudi Arabia, the ISS team continues to grow under Raheel Jalili, who was promoted earlier this year to Sales Director for KSA and Bahrain. Jalili has been joined by Hisham Bnyyan as Sales Manager, who has achieved great results while leading the commercials of the Saudi market at KG Tech Arabia and ST Engineering, as well as a team of engineers led by Hatim Alzain and Ibrahim Algadi who have excellent technical skills on the ground. Over the past three years, ISS has experienced remarkable growth in Saudi Arabia and has recently secured a commercial registration with a local license. With this momentum, the company is committed to expanding the team further, aiming to recruit talented professionals to serve the key provinces across the kingdom.
ISS has promoted Amr Tolba, who currently oversees our business development in Egypt, and brings a proven track record in logistics, focusing on significant port projects across the country.
